Tam Vu

Co-Founder/CEO

Tam is a Senior Executive and a Non-Executive Director (NED) with extensive global experience, and an established track record of transforming businesses to deliver significant business outcomes.

In his capacity as a NED, Tam has chaired Technology and Nomination and Remuneration Committees. Tam has also been a member of various Risk and Audit Committees for a number of organisations, including the National Gallery of Victoria and the Victorian Environment Protection Authority.

In his executive roles, Tam has held numerous senior Chief Information Officer (CIO) roles for leading organisations such as

BP Australia and its global retail business, SEEK and Mars Asia Pacific. Prior to holding these roles, Tam also worked as a consultant with Andersen Consulting and IBM Consulting Group.

In 2011, Tam co-founded Vitae Partners, a highly successful professional services business that has assisted numerous Tier-1 organisations and Government with their digital transformation journeys.

In recent times, Tam has been assisting organisations to protect their workforce from cyber security threats, focusing on insider risk management and data loss prevention. Tam is currently an Advisory Board member of DTEX Systems, one of the world’s leading workforce cyber security vendors.


James Fitzell

Co-Founder/CTO

James is an outcome-focused senior IT leader who specialises in information security.

With over 20 years’ information security experience across numerous industries, he has a proven track record managing the design and successful delivery of strategic outcomes for complex organisations.

Prior to starting i5 James was a Director at Hivint, acquired by Trustwave, and led the Australian cyber advisory practice for Trustwave.

He provides authoritative expertise and advice on information security standards and best practices, to ensure information assets are appropriately protected while maintaining efficient business processes.

James understands IT risk and compliance frameworks and is adept at integrating them with appropriate security controls in alignment with business strategy.

He takes a risk-based approach to all aspects of his role, working with executives and diverse stakeholders to tailor solutions that meet the specific needs and objectives of the business.
